"We don't have to do all of it alone.
We were never meant to".
Hello and welcome
I am a fully insured, experienced Person-Centred counsellor, working with individuals, adults & young people/teenagers age 12+. Currently I can offer face to face sessions in Seaford East Sussex, or online (via Zoom) or telephone sessions for anyone in the UK.
I have experience working with people from different backgrounds and ages and with a wide range of issues. Some of the most common problems I help with are:
Anxiety & stress
Trauma/Panic & fear
Sadness, grief & loss
Challenges with parenting
I appreciate that making that first step in looking for and choosing a counsellor can feel quite daunting and is a very personal thing. There are many different approaches to counselling and it is important to get the right fit for you. Please have a read through my website for more information about what counselling with me might be like.
I believe that the diverse and sometimes difficult challenges I've faced and overcome in my own life have given me true insight into myself and others. Through my personal and professional experiences, I have developed a genuine belief in the healing potential of a trusting relationship between two human beings. My faith in the Person-Centred philosophy means that I trust that you know yourself better than anyone else does and my warm and empathic nature allows me to offer a safe and supportive space for you to open up about things that are troubling you. I believe that with the right help people can heal, change and thrive, as opposed to just survive.
Emotional support for adults and young people
For face to face sessions I work from a private, comfortable room at 'The House Psychotherapy & Counselling Centre' in the heart of Seaford town, England. Seaford is easily accessible by car, train or bus from Eastbourne, Polegate, Hailsham, Peacehaven and surrounding areas. Alternatively I can offer online and telephone sessions from any location in the UK
I welcome enquires via telephone, email or by the contact form shown here.
